How large is the box? Your entire workbench bracket system arrives in a compact 12” x 12” x 8” box.
What size can I make my workbench? The brackets do not restrict the size. You can build your workbench to any length or width using standard lumber. Most customers build workbenches approximately 36” high (counter height) with tabletops 24” wide and 4 ft or longer. For lengths of 5 ft or more, a centre support is recommended.
Can I reconfigure or enlarge my workbench later? Yes. Simply unscrew the brackets, install new or resized lumber, and reassemble.
Do I need any additional brackets for a tool rack or shelving? No. The included brackets can also accommodate a tool rack and/or shelf. Our assembly instructions show you exactly how to configure the brackets to do this. Easily done.
Is it possible to stack brackets for more storage? Yes. This workbench system accommodates many configurations, including multi-shelf storage units from floor to ceiling. Additional brackets may be required depending on your design and can be purchased separately.
Assembly & Requirements
Do I need woodworking experience? No. You only need the ability to use a tape measure, cut standard lumber, and operate a cordless drill with a screwdriver bit. The kit even includes the screws and the screwdriver bit you need.
What lumber is required?
- PRO/Heavy-Duty systems: Use standard 2x4 lumber for the frame.
- STUDIO/Light-Duty systems: Use standard 2x3 lumber for the frame.
- Tabletop thickness is your choice. We recommend a minimum of ½” OSB or plywood for STUDIO, and ¾” plywood or thicker for PRO.
How long does assembly take? With pre-cut lumber, most customers complete assembly in about 90 minutes. Time varies slightly depending on your comfort level with basic tools and whether your lumber is pre-cut.
Any suggestions for what I might include in my workbench design? For maximum rigidity, we recommend:
- Screwing through the tabletop directly into the top frame
- Adding a shelf and screwing it into the shelf-level frame
- Adding a tool rack screwed to the upper rear leg supports
- Installing any included 90-degree angle brackets at shelf level
- Shims/spacers are included to help account for typical variances in lumber thickness.
Weight Capacity
How much weight can a workbench hold?
- PRO/Heavy-Duty system: 650 lbs working load
- STUDIO/Creative Spaces system: 400 lbs working load
These ratings include a substantial safety margin. The light-duty STUDIO brackets supported a 4,000 lb SUV - see video. Always distribute weight evenly and avoid exceeding the rated load. For table lengths of 5 ft or more, add centre supports for best performance.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does shipping take? We usually ship within 48 hours. Delivery within Canada via Canada Post typically takes 2–9 business days depending on your location. We are based in Hamilton, ON.
Do you ship internationally? At this time, we only ship within Canada.
How can I track my order? You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

What payment methods do you accept? We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal through Shopify’s secure checkout.
What is your return policy? We offer a 30-day return policy on unused and unassembled products. All parts must be returned in the original packaging. Return shipping is at your cost and tracking is required. For full details, please see our Return Policy page.
